Most the food is excellent except for Tempura which is unseasoned and greasy. The waitstaff are friendly, accurate and attentive. We had a large party of 11 and they accommodated us well including a reservation. The restaurant is esthetically pleasing and clean. They currently serve "all you can eat" but it's a tad pricey. My meal with hot tea, tax and tip was $35.

Hokkaido has now been added to our frequently visited takeout spots. Wish we discovered this place sooner. Great prices, portions, taste and quality. Our favorite order is the 3 sushi rolls and steak/shrimp hibachi. Enough to share for 2. Miso soup and house salad is great. Definitely recommend.

First time coming and definitely not the last, very delighted with the food, the service, and experience. We did the all you can eat menu which is currently $24.99. The menu has great sushi and appetizers. Our waiter, Jackson was so kind and helpful!

I visited this place with my boyfriend a few days ago. The truth is there are better places than this menu with more variety and fair prices, the complete opposite of this place!! To top it off, there was a hair in our food. DISGUSTING, our waitress said she would inform her manager about this, to which the manager said there was nothing she could do. Our waitress apologized. My boyfriend was quite cautious as there were a lot of people there so they didn't know what was going on, we had to eat even after what happened because if we left we would still have to pay for the full price . The sushi is very hard and without good flavor. The truth is that it is not worth what it costs. I do not recommend it. There are better places to enjoy a variety of well-made sushi at a good price.

We have been here over 20x since August of this year and I have nothing bad to say about Hokkaido. You’ve experienced everything to the max. When coming to dine in, the “All you can eat” buffet style is amazing. I’m not a sushi fan but my friends are and they absolutely love it here. I always get the Hibachi; different meats are available: Steak, Chicken, Shrimp and a combination of 2. I’ve tried all types of Hibachi’s and I always come back for more. Customer service is the greatest, they recognize us as soon as we call to place an order. We feel comfortable with the employees and the environment. They make you feel welcomed! I have not been disappointed, and I don’t expect it anytime soon. The love the way they work, excellent people in the community.

Great all you can eat.. nice variety on menu.. tuna was very small pieces with a lot of left over rice.. no substitutions, however, leave offs and add on are available.. great service.. busy, yet, not over crowded.. Nice stop off the interstate after a mountain hike.. prices are reasonable with quality expected for the price.. typical all you can eat Virginia sushi, nothing to write home about, but left fat and happy 😊

Wow, what a great place we were celebrating a birthday and the staff went above and beyond even before they knew about our celebration. I will highly recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh. The vegetables were cooked to perfection and the sushi was delicious

Super fast delivery, they did it in 13-14 minutes, bravo! The food was very tasty, I try hibachi for the first time and it did not disappoint me! Now I will know about rolls what "hand roll" is, otherwise I could not understand what is the difference from the classic one and realized that I like the classic round rolls more. Shumai with sauce is also quite tasty. It was a surprise to see soup and salad, completely free, thank you very much, very nice! 👍🏼
